Erin B. Hester (Ph.D., University of Kentucky) specializes in public interest communication. Her research focuses on influencing motivation, decision-making, and actions to improve the human condition. She has expertise in persuasive writing, community engagement, and social marketing, making complex health and risk information accessible to diverse audiences. Dr. Hester has collaborated with numerous organizations to design strategic communication solutions for issues such as obesity prevention, opioid abatement, child sex trafficking, inclusive sustainability, and lung cancer screening.
