Personal profile
Research Interests
The Biomedical Optics Lab (PI: Guoqiang Yu) develops near-infrared diffuse optical spectroscopy/imaging for the quantification of blood flow, oxygenation and oxygen metabolism in normal and diseased tissues of animals and humans. The motivation is to explore the feasibility of optical-electronic instruments for noninvasive diagnosis of cancer diseases and longitudinal monitoring of cancer therapies.
