Research Interests
My program of research seeks to improve health by increasing access to healthcare, particularly mental health care. This kind of research is often called “help-seeking,” “health services,” or “health care seeking/utilization” research.

Biography
Born and raised in the Chicago suburbs, I went on to complete my Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, Master’s of Education in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri, and PhD in Counseling Psychology at Iowa State University. Prior to starting my faculty position at the University of Kentucky, I completed an APA-Accredited Predoctoral Psychology Internship at the University of Maryland Counseling Center. I joined UK as faculty in 2015.
