    Biography

Julene Jones is the Director of Library Assessment and Organizational Effectiveness Librarian at the University of Kentucky Libraries.  Her research areas are equitable assessment and supporting data-driven decisions, as well as library mentoring. She is UK Libraries' sole independent contributor for personal and corporate authority records for NACO.  She earned a MLIS (Library and Information Science) and a MA in Sociology, both from the University of Kentucky.  Prior to her current position, she was the Head of Database Integrity at the University of Kentucky Libraries for eight years and worked at Book Wholesalers, Inc. for almost three years, with her final position there being the Special Projects Coordinator in the Cataloging Department.
