    Biography

    Kevin Real, (Ph.D., 2002, Texas A&M University) is Professor of Communication at the University of Kentucky. Dr. Real’s primary research focuses on communication in healthcare organizations. His research on communication and healthcare design in hospitals, health care teams, and patient safety has been published in Health Communication, Health Environments Research and Design (HERD), Handbook of Health Communication, American Journal of Infection Control, Journal of Business and Psychology, and Management Communication Quarterly. He has won numerous awards for teaching and research, including six Top Paper Awards at national and international conferences.
