Research Interests
Our laboratory is focused on identifying the underlying pathophysiological mechanisms linking dietary nutrient metabolism to the development of obesity and associated metabolic disorders. In particular, we are interested in understanding how fructose consumption and long chain fatty acid oxidation disorders contribute to obesity and associated NAFLD.
