2008 PLM and Chemical Analysis, Savannah River National Laboratory and Washington Savannah River Company

The incumbent will provide the technical expertise to conduct part of the chemical analyses for an estimated 285 samples generated for the Savannah River Ecology Laboratory. Analytical methods and samplepreparation to be conducted include: • Sample Preparation for chemical analysis • Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectroscopy (ICPMS) for Cs, Re, and I by EPA SW-846 method 6020A or equivalent • Inductively Coupled Plasma-Optical Emission Spectroscopy (ICP-OES or ICPES) forNa, AI, Cr, P, S, K, Si, Sr and possibly additional elements byEPA SW- 846 method 60l0B or equivalent • IC Anions for nitrate, nitrite, sulfate, fluoride, chloride, oxalate, phosphate by EPA SW-846 method 9056 or equivalent • Surface Tension Measurement per ASTM D97l-99a.
