2013-14 UK Private Pesticide Applicator

The UK Department of Entomology will use the funds exclusively for certification of private pesticide applicators and maintaining records of training and certification. The Department will assign a unique certification number for each individual as they are trained and the County Extension Office will print and issue a certified applicator document to each private applicator. The Department of Entomology agrees to train county staff, to coordinate data entry efforts at the county level, and provide maintenance for the private applicator computer program. The Department of Entomology will maintain and make available to the Department of Agriculture the database of private applicator information. The Cooperative Extension Service and the Department of Entomology will provide the Division of Environmental Services with a hard copy and an electronic version (in Access) of demographic data and new certification numbers on a quarterly basis sent to the Division of Environmental Services office in Frankfort.
