2021 eXtension PSEP Enhancement Grant

This funding will help to support the Private Applicator Training and certification program at the University of Kentucky by providing parital funding for an assistant working with this program. This assistant will also produce a powerpoint presentation that will be used by county agents to train producers about understanding the risks of acute toxicity and chronic toxicity, routes of exposure, how to reduce exposure, proper use of, protective clothing and personal protective equipment, symptoms of pesticide poisoning, first aid and other procedures to be followed in case of a pesticide mishap. This powerpoint will serve as the required deliverable for this grant.
