A Detailed Sector Analysis of the Holstein Beef Market

This goal of this project is to complete a detailed sector analysis for the Holstein beef market. Budget analysis willbe conducted for the backgrounding and finishing industries, and an econometric model willbe developed to determine what factors drive the overall Holstein market. Results willbe submitted to an academic journal, but additionally, an outreach publication willbe developed that willfocus on implications for livestock producers participating in the various segments of the Holstein supply chain.
