Description
Children with ADHD often fall behind their comparison peers in narrative comprehension ability due to deficits in story domains that are important for comprehension. The purpose of the proposed project is to develop a supplemental afterschool intervention for 2nd and 3rd grade children at-risk for ADHD. We will include children at-risk for ADHD in order to aid children who may be experiencing specific narrative comprehension deficits. This project will take place in three phases over three years and will include a significant iterative component.
