Description
OBJECTIVES
1.1 Examine the efficacy and tolerability of olanzapine (Zyprexa) therapy in
combination with dexamethasone for the prevention of chemotherapy
induced acute and delayed emesis and nausea in chemotherapy naIve patents
receiving moderately emetogenic (doxorubicin, irinotecan,
cyclophosphamide) or highly emetogenic (cisplatin) chemotherapy.
1.2 To determine the feasibility of measures of efficacy to assess delayed nausea
and vomiting.
