A Quality by Design Approach to the Understanding and Predicting Excipient Properties and Funcionalities

The proposed work is the first part of a larger program to identify, measure, and provde useful models for predicting excipient propoerties that affect the performance of solid dosage formulations; addressing these knowledge gaps should facilitate the ongoing industry and FDA initiatives focused on "quality by design".
