Description
Explanation of accomplishment Cooperator will use high-resolution analytical equipment to profile
and characterize the biochemical metabolites in host wheat and nonhost cereals and insect samples
over a time course. Besides analysis, the cooperator will analyze and interpret the data in
addition to preparing figures that will be used in publications.
Objective: The University of Kentucky and the Agricultural Research Service desire to enter into
this Agreement for the purpose of supporting research to be carried out at ARS and Cooperator
facilities. ARS desires the Cooperator to provide goods and services necessary to carry out
research of mutual interest within the West Lafayette Campus.
APPROACH: The Agency Location is engaged in research addressing biochemical metabolites in host
wheat and nonhost cereals and insect samples. ARS desires to acquire goods and services from the
Cooperator to further agricultural research supporting the independent interests of
both parties.
