Grants and Contracts Details
Description
This proposal focuses on the development of novel numerical techniques for the solution of
electromagnetic scattering problems that are accurate, fast, and well-conditioned. This is realized by
the development of a high-order loca]]y corrected Nystrom solution of the volume and/or surface
scattering of complex radar targets, and circuits printed in multilayered media. The high-order
Nystrom solution to such problems promises high-order error convergence, computational
efficiency, and controllable accuracy. With the implementation of fast iterative solvers and well
conditioned formulations, the proposed techniques promise the ability to predict the RCS of practica
airborne vehicles over wide frequency bands.
