    Grants and Contracts Details

    Description

The states of Tennessee and Kentucky have had AgrAbility projects since 1991 and 1993, respectively. However, the Kentucky effort is currently not funded by USDA CSREES, and the Tennessee project is nearing the end of a 4-year project. The staff of the Kentucky and Tennessee AgrAbility Projects have determined that it is advantageous to form a partnership that creates a new multi state Tennessee-Kentucky AgrAbility Project to take advantages of the strengths and synergies of both programs to serve the needs of agricultural workers with disabilities. The proposed project will be statewide in both states and provide direct assistance to approximately 90 new farmer clients per year.
