Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Richard Hill will work with Radja Boughezal, Frank Petriello, and other ANL scientists to compute
and implement radiative corrections in neutrino scattering, beta decay, and other processes.
In particular, connections will be made between Hill’s recent work constraining lepton-quark
effective operators using neutrino scattering data, and analysis by Boughezal, Petriello and
collaborators on Standard Model Effective Field Theory (SMEFT) using constraints from high energy
colliders. Topics include: simultaneous fits to multiple datasets; the implementation of Minimal
Flavor Violation beyond the quasi-degenerate neutrino mass limit; implementation of lattice QCD
constraints; complementarity of beta decay, neutrino scattering, and collider observables for New
Physics sensitivity.
