Description
There are five objectives to address the goals of this study, three of which concern the evaluation findings and two regarding data collection enhancement: (1) To describe the characteristics of individuals served in the DPA Diversion Program; (2) to examine incarceration days from baseline to follow-up: and, (3) to examine cost offsets resulting from use of diversion services; (4) To provide training on data collection and interviewing techniques for the social worker and other DPA staff as needed to meet study demands; and (5) To work with the DPA on developing a manual on data collection and data entry related to the DPA social work activities.
