Description
OBJECTIVES: The objectives will be to determine viable alternatives to the currently
approved snowplowable raised pavement marker and the current methods used to snowplow
roadways. Anticipated deliverables will include the following:
I) State of practice related to pavement markings in areas subject to snowplows,
2) State of practice related to snowplowing procedures,
3) Durable and effective pavement marker that is not di sruptive to snowplowing operations,
and
4) Guidelines for a snowplowing procedure that does not damage pavements.
