Grants and Contracts Details

Description

SCOPE OF WORK The Neuropathology Core of the ACTC provides an infrastructure for longitudinal follow-up of clinical trial participants after the trial has ended as well as the infrastructure for facilitating autopsy, and gathering standardized autopsy data across all sites irrespective of their expertise and/or abilities within discrete sites. The neuropathology core co-director will engage with the ACTC leadership, steering committee, and other cores to ensure that maximal recruitment, longitudinal follow-up, and eventual autopsy arrangements and data collection can be performed in an optimal fashion. These efforts include weekly Neuropathology Core coordination meetings, as well as directed interactions with consortium sites that need assistance in achieving the goals of this core. The goals of this core or to engage all clinical trial participants in recruitment for this neuropathology effort with the intent of engaging over 50% of clinical trial participants in longitudinal follow-up and eventual autopsy after clinical trial they are enrolled in is completed. The Neuropathology Core Codirector will engage regularly with the ACTC Neuropathology Core Administrator and there codirector to ensure that all project aims are completed successfully.
