Grants and Contracts Details
Description
CBER will match the RAPIDS data to UI wage records to analyze employment, earnings and
retention. The analysis will include descriptive statistics, regression models, and propensity score
matching. Labor market outcomes will be examined for all apprenticeship participants
(completers and dropouts together) and for completers and dropouts separately. The analysis will
also investigate subsamples of apprentices by gender, industry, and program length.
CBER will also use its access to administrative data on employment services (ES) participants.
CBER will work with Mathematica to identify a relevant comparison group among ES
participants. CBER will match ES data with UI wage records. The analysis will include
descriptive statistics, regression models, and propensity score matching. The analysis will also
investigate subsamples by gender. We will work together with Mathematica to develop SAS and
STATA code for this part of the analysis.
