Grants and Contracts Details
Description
This proposal would provide funding for 5 undergraduate students to conduct research with 5 faculty mentors in the Psychology Department. The faculty mentors each conduct different types of research, covering clinical, social, and developmental psychology. Students will work as research assistants in a specific lab for 40 hours a week for 8 weeks. They will be directly supervised by their faculty mentor. This program is designed to increase undergraduate students’ exposure to the research process. Students who are from groups underrepresented in science and with little exposure to research will be prioritized.
