Appalachian Community Technical Assistance and Training (ACTAT) Program

Task 1: Project Logistics/Monitoring/Reporting Will provide outreach to Kentucky specific stakeholders to solicit participation by systems in need of training and technical assistance. Will monitor project and Kentucky participant progress throughout project period to ensure milestones are being met and participants are making progress. Will provide quarterly reports to Wet Virginia University (WVU) for inclusion in quarterly reports to funding agency. Task 2: Facilitator/Partner Prep Will travel to WVU to meet with project partners to establish training schedule and formalize roles and responsibilities. Make final community selection etc. Task 3: WV Workshop #1 Will travel to WV training site to observe and participate in Workshop In A Box training being conducted by WVU to ensure training programs being conducted by the project are consistent across state boundaries. Task 4: WV Workshop #2 Will travel to WV training site to observe and participate in Workshop In A Box training being conducted by WVU to ensure training programs being conducted by the project are consistent across state boundaries. Task 5: KY Workshop #1 Will take the lead role in conducting the KY Workshop In A Box training focused on systems located within the state of Kentucky. West Virginia University will work with KY in planning phase of the workshop and be in attendance to aid in training delivery and monitoring/reporting. Task 6: KY Workshop #2 Will take the lead role in conducting the KY Workshop In A Box training focused on systems located within the state of Kentucky. Task 7: Post Workshop Technical Assistance Will provide assistance to workshop participants in completing self-assessments, prioritizing focus areas, and developing and implementing action plans as time and budget allows.
