Description

The University of Kentucky ACTAT Team housed in the UK Department of Civil Engineering will perform the following services: Task 1: Phase 1 Utility Operations Module Development: develop a new training module in one of the following possible topics: PFAS, DPB, Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Hydraulics/Water Quality, or another current topic as may arise. Task 2: Regional Module Trainings (min 1, collaborate with multi-state workshop). Task 3: Utility-Specific Training and Technical Assistance (min 4). Task 4: Educational Content Development and Distribution. Refine the curriculum associated with K-12 engagement. Task 5: Continue Benchmark Questionnaire During Trainings and Utility Specific Technical Assistance. Task 6: Engage with K-12 audiences to Promote Workforce Development. One high/middle school engagement and e-day activities. Task 7: Continued Partnership Development, Funding Opportunities to Sustain Community Growth. Task 8: Encourage opportunities to share ACTAT Lessons Learned to regional or National Audiences. Task 9: Program management and accountability.
