Grants and Contracts Details
Description
This proposal has been prepared in response to a request from Mr. Scott Fennell of the Northern Kentucky University Center for Environmental Restoration (NKU-CER) for a proposal to conduct a Phase I archaeological survey of the proposed Kingsolver Phase 2 Stream Restoration Tract in Nicholas County, Kentucky.
The stream restoration project is in very preliminary stages, with few specific stream restoration activities established at this time. However, some activities are known, and these are taken into account in the following survey proposal. In addition, it is planned to turn over the tract to the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources (KDFWR), who will ultimately be responsible for managing the property and any archaeological sites contained within it.
