Grants and Contracts Details

Description

This proposal has the objective to develop a 2,4-D tolerant red clover (Trifolium pretense L.) line and to identify the physiological and genetic basis for the tolerance. Red clover is normally injured by 2,4-D and tolerance to the herbicide in this crop would greatly expand the weed management options for broadleaf weeds in pastures.
