Grants and Contracts Details

Description

This study is to establish that an improved tall fescue variety with a friendly endophyte (AR584) is safe for horses, specifically, late term pregnant mares. The study is designed to establish that pregnant mares grazed on the novel endophyte fescue KYFA9821/AR584 will not have the health problems in late gestation that are normally associated with endophyte infected KY-31 tall fescue.
