Association of baseline and time-varying serum magnesium levels with cardiovascular disease events in SPRINT participants with and without chronic kidney disease

Dr. Javier Neyra, Co Investigator on this project, will be in charge of the methodological design and will oversee the statistical analysis of the project. Dr. Neyra has ongoing collabora tive work with the biostatistical team at UT Southwestern, Drs. Beverly Huet and Xilong Li, with whom he has completed several other projects. Dr. Neyra will have bi-monthly videoconferences to monitor the project and he will visit UT Southwestern twice annually during the award period.
