Grants and Contracts Details
Description
The Belonging in the Community project consists of Kentucky’s National Core Indicators and supplemental activities that promote independence and integration for Kentuckians with disabilities. In concert with and under the authority of the Kentucky Division of Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities, the Belonging in the Community project will:
1. Provide project management and coordination for Kentucky’s National Core Indicators. This effort is responsive to the recommendations of the Commission on Services and Supports for Persons with Mental Retardation and other Developmental Disabilities as Kentucky seeks to benchmark the performance of its service systems against levels which are being achieved elsewhere and over time.
2. Provide assistance and support to providers and state agency personnel in person-centered practice.
