Description

Objectives: The major objectives of this study are to determine effects of unweighting on (I) fluid volume shifts in the thorax, abdomen, upper and lower leg; (2) regulation of blood pressure, heart rate, peripheral vascular resistance and indexes of autonomic balance; and (3) ground reaction forces during standing, walking and running using the Alter G simulator.
