Grants and Contracts Details

Description

1. We will perform stable isotope-resolved metabolomic (SIRM) analysis on cardiac tissue extracts (estimated at a total of 625 samples) generated from 13C-glucose and 13C-fatty acid tracer-fed mice in Specific Aims 1-3 using NMR, IC-FTMS, and direct-infusion FTMS methods (including ECF and without ECF derivatization) established at CESB. 2. We will assist in the interpretation of the SIRM data in terms anabolic and catabolic metabolic pathways in control and manipulated cardiac tissues. 3. We will assist in manuscript preparation
