Center for Innovation Operations and Assessment for Learning Project

This investment will enable the Center for Innovation in Education at the University of Kentucky to continue to support system-wide shifts around the implementation of the Common Core and the adoption of personalized and deeper learning strategies. It also enables two anchor intermediaries, the Center for Innovation and Next Generation Learning Challenges at EduCause, to join forces with state and local educators, assessment experts, tool providers and other partners to create a network of proof points of systems of assessment aligned with broadened definitions of readiness and personalized, deeper learning strategies to be known as the “Assessment for Learning Project (ALP)”.
