Grants and Contracts Details
Description
Cancer prevention and control protocols approved for implementation by COG are assigned cancer control credits. The cancer control credit assigment is determined by the NCI protocol review committee as part of the review process. The credit assignment is commensurate with the complexity of the intervention, the data management workload, and the duration of follow-up associated with a given protocol.
Per case rembursements are provided for accruals to cancer prevention and control trials from COG's community clinical oncology program (CCOP) Research Base Grant U10 CA 095861. This grant also reimburses non-CCOP COG institutions for cancer control credits associated with COG therapeutic studies.
