Description
Background: Since July, 1999, Kentucky has complied with the federal CAPT A
mandate by having Citizens Review Panels for child protective services. Nearly sixty
citizen volunteers meet monthly to evaluate different facets of the system and give their
recommendations for strengthening of services. Their work has received national
recognition and the coming year will be a time to build on past successes.
