There is potential great value in defining the current clinical course of American children with STEC HUS by retrospectively reviewing cases at centers in the Midwest Pediatric Nephrology Consortium. The coordinating center for this study is the University of Wisconsin. The primary objective of this study is to define the clinical course and burden of residual disease of STEC HUS in a contemporary group of American children. This study is data collection only, retrospective chart review of subjects with STEC HUS during the years 2007 through 2011. The University of Kentucky is one of the Midwest Pediatric Nephrology Consortium (MWPNC) centers which will participate in this study. Data will be collected as per the MWPNC HUS Chart Review Data Entry Form and entered into Redcap data entry system.
