The first objective is to complete the data analysis of the hourly worker flexibility model. Specifically, advanced statistical analysis will be used to; 1. Construct job quality scales for houly workers 2. Analyze the job quality scales in relation to business outcomes (customer service and store sales) and employee outcomes (employee engagement, employee health & well-being, and work-to-life conflict) at the store, district and regional levels of the organization. 3. Analysis of manager interviews to identify effective strategies to creating responsive workplace practices. 4. Examine the link between responsive workplace practices and store outcomes, comparing highly responsive districts with minimally responsive districts to determine the extent to which employee and store outcomes differ and to determine the extent to which senior management style is associated with district and store outcomes.
