In a political culture where the latest tweet can set off a political firestorm, senators’ social media habits are instrumental in shaping the individual narratives coming out of Congress. This study considers legislative effectiveness as a defining characteristic for how senators communicate. With this grant, I will conduct interviews to assess effective lawmakers’ habits on social media.
