Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government Community Paramedicine Overdose Outreach Lexington (LFUCG – CPOOL) Evaluation Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government (LFUCG) is submitting a grant to the Department of Justice to fund the Community Paramedicine Overdose Outreach Lexington (CPOOL) program. The UK Center on Drug and Alcohol Research will be responsible for conducting an evaluation of this program, if funded. The evaluation includes collecting and analyzing de- identified data from first responders who interact with individuals and families who experience or are affected by a drug overdose event. A process evaluation will be conducted annually by the evaluation team through confidential interviews with key staff and stakeholders to document program implementation, successes, and challenges. Reports will be prepared for LFUCG for regular Continuous Quality Improvement meetings to measure progress toward grant goals and to address any on-going challenges. In addition, annual reports including both process and outcome evaluation data will be prepared.
