Grantee shall use the funding toward a PGY1 community pharmacy residency program (CPRP)T
The University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy Community Pharmacy Residency Program is dedicated to developing community practitioners who are providers of direct patient care services and innovators in the advancement of community pharmacy practice. The program will equip the resident to:
• Provide patient care in community pharmacy settings
• Develop skills as an effective communicator/educator
• Design, market, implement, and maintain patient care services
• Complete a research project that contributes to community pharmacy practice
• Develop and maintain competency in traditional community pharmacist roles
• Be a leader and role model for pharmacists, other professionals, and students in advancing the profession.
