Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment Project Abstract 07/01/2023 – 06/30/2024 (FY24) The HDI Evaluation Unit team for this project includes Mykal Leslie (Principal Investigator), Janie Knell (Project Coordinator), Mikaela Roark (Evaluation Analyst), and Michelle Ellington (Project Manager). Our team’s objectives will be to conduct a Comprehensive Statewide Needs Assessment (CSNA) for the Kentucky Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR) that fulfills the eight scope of work requirements as detailed in the project RFP and in the VR Needs Assessment Guide. The project scope of work includes 1) defining and establishing CSNA goals, 2) developing CSNA plan for information dissemination, 3) gathering information, 4) analyzing the results and developing findings, 5) developing the conclusions from the CSNA and developing potential action strategies, 6) developing recommendations for the State plan, goals, priorities, and strategies, 7) submitting a full CSNA report, and 8) submitting monthly updates to OVR. The HDI Evaluation Unit was responsible for the previous OVR CSNA and will utilize experience on this previous project to execute the upcoming CSNA efficiently and effectively. Leslie, Mykal
