The Kentucky Geological Survey (KGS), a publicly supported research center within the University of Kentucky (UK), requests $150,328 in funding for our proposal titled “Connecting Geoscience: Expanding Access and Findability of the Kentucky Geological Survey Publications and Maps Collection.” This work aims to enhance our online, open-access publications and map collection by inventorying additional at-risk physical materials, enhancing metadata to incorporate geological and geographical data, and leveraging university resources to collect robust usage data and patron information.
