Coordinating Center, Cancer Prevention and Control Network (WVU SIP 3)

The University of Kentucky Prevention Research Center (UK PRC) wil1 co11aboratein the development and evaluation of a Coordinating Center, as described in the appHcation for SIP 3-02, "Coordinating Center, Prevention Researcb Centers' Cancer Prevention and Control Network". Specifically, the UK PRC wiU provide an interdisciplinary team of personnel to provide leadership and technical support for the Coordinating Center. In partnership witl1 the West Virginia University PRC, tbe UK PRC wiU: . develop and maintain a Coordinating Center website to provide inforrnaHon on activities ofthe Network and disseminate information to collaborative partners, . coordinate conference ca11sand meetings witl1 Advisory Board members and other Network offices, and . . lead in the development oftl1e Network's 5-year plan for conducting and pub1ishing intervention and dissemination research on cancer prevention and control. The interdisciplinary team of researchers at the UK PRC will work in conjunction with the West Virginia University PRC to facilitate linkages among Network members and naHonal/statel1ocal partners.
