Cross-state validation of a novel prescription claims-based model to predict new long-term opioid use

Dr. Chris Delcher, director of the Institute of Pharmaceutical Outcomes & Policy (IPOP), will facilitate Dr. Tseregounis’s access to the UK IPOP servers to analyze the Kentucky Prescription Drug Monitoring Program (KASPER) data needed for the proposed project. He will also assist with interpreting project results, facilitate communication with KASPER staff and UK experts, and will work with Dr. Tseregounis to disseminate project findings via manuscript publications. IPOP analysts will assist with data manipulation as needed.
