Description

The project will develop a mapping application to help facilitate reporting and management activitiescompleted by the Kentucky Division of Forestry. The specific objectives of the project include: 1) replicate the M-5 mapping tools application by re-writing the code in Visual Basic programming language, 2) design and construct a standardized geospatial database for complying with USDA Forest Service grant reporting requirements, 3) develop an accomplishment module as an additional feature to the mapping application to tie back in with the geospatial database to include tracking activities such as forest stewardship plans, on-the-ground landowner accomplishments and federal cost-share program activities.
