Description
The purpose of this contract is to provide for imporved access to high quality peer support services for adolescents and their families accross the Commonwealth by increasing provider capacity.
Adolescent substance use is at an epidemic proportions and if effective intervention is not provided, it frequently advances into young adulthood and beyond. Adolescent substance use increases
morbidity and mortality and derails normal developmental paths that are important for educational achievement, developing talents, and maturing in relationships. Through this initiative, UKRF will
assist current and new providers in developing, redesigning, or enhancing current adolescent substance use perr support services across the continuum of care.
