Description
OBJECTIVES: The objective of this research is to develop an asset management system to
inventory the assets on Kentucky's state-maintained roadways. Secondary objectives are:
I) Design a system to work separately or conjunction with the Cabinet's video log system,
2) Create data in a fOlmat to be stored spatially and linked to the transpOltationnetwork,
3) Develop an end product similar to the SignClick software already in use, and
4) Develop a system for application in the field using GPS to locate the asset or in an office
to update or maintain the inventory.
