Statement of Work Dr. Lile will be responsible for overseeing the overall recruitment efforts for the focus group study, which will include advising the other recruitment consultants and strategizing with study leadership, based on his experience recruiting hard-to-reach populations with substance use disorders and his expertise conducting clinical research on opioid withdrawal. Focus groups will be conducted with stakeholder populations (i.e., people using different opioids and those with opioid use disorder) from different geographic regions (including MD, KY, FL) balanced on key characteristics (sex, age, race, treatment history) to identify questions that best capture what patients mean when they report they are experiencing opioid withdrawal. Recruitment Goal: max. N = 160 (~40 per site), recruited in representative Cohorts of n = 10.
