Description
Design and develop a prototype multi-waveband vision device that is low cost and portable for
in situ inspection of agricultural products for diseases, defects, or contaminations.
APPROACH:
Select effective lighting, optical filters, prism modules, optical sensors, microprocessor, lenses,
etc. for a low-cost, portable vision device. Design electronic integrated circuits for classification
operations. Integrate hardware and software of the vision device and test its efficacy.
