Grants and Contracts Details

Description

Field trials will be conducted to evaluate various strategies for managing glyphosate-resistant weeds such as Palmer amaranth, waterhemp, and marestail. Data collected will include visual evaluations of weed control and crop response at key times during the first 4 to 6 weeks following application and near the end of the growing season. Plots that have any technologies that are not approved or registered by EPA or USDA cannot be harvested and will need to be destroyed. Depending on USDA requirements for regulated traits, some plots may need to be monitored in 2014 for volunteer soybean plants.
