Development of an Updated Software Implementation for the Support Technology Optimization Program (STOP)

Grants and Contracts Details

Description

The objective of this proposal is the development of a new (updated) software package to run under the Microsoft Windows environment. This package will include a windows based front end (GUI) and all data (i.e. project data, support reaction data, photographs, etc) will be stored in a relational database in the back end. A new installer will also be developed that will be able to automatically install the package either on a stand-alone windows computer or on a windows network, whereby users will be able to share projects off the common database. In addition a separate module will be developed to allow NIOSH to easily edit the support database.
